A.Z. Sujan, Lalpur, Natore.

In Lalpur, Natore, Farzana Sharmin Putul, daughter of the late former State Minister Fazlur Rahman Potol and BNP-nominated “Rice Sheaf” candidate for Natore-1 (Lalpur-Bagatipara) constituency, held a discussion session with journalists. The meeting took place yesterday, Wednesday, November 5, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM at her residence in the Gauripur area of the Upazila.

During the session, Barrister Farzana Sharmin Putul said that although she completed her student life, her friends did not know that she was a minister’s daughter. She maintained friendships as an ordinary girl from a simple household. Her father had prohibited her from revealing that she was a minister’s daughter, and she has always respected that. She added that she plans to visit every neighborhood and household across all unions and wards of Natore-1 (Lalpur-Bagatipara) to seek people’s prayers for the “Rice Sheaf” symbol.

Addressing the journalists, she emphasized that to win as the “Rice Sheaf” candidate, she needs the maximum support of the media and intends, with their prayers, to go door to door and deliver this seat to BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman with the highest number of votes. She also apologized to all residents of Natore-1 (Lalpur-Bagatipara) for any past mistakes.

Among those present were her brother-in-law Nazmul Hasan Sumon, former convener and ex-mayor of Gopalpur Municipality Nazrul Islam Golam, Chairman Siddiq Ali Mistu of Bilmaría Union, Chairman Abdul Aziz Ronju of No. 2 Ishwardi Union, and former joint convener of the Upazila BNP Hamidur Rahman Babu, among others.
