5 leaders and activists of various organs and affiliated organizations of Awami League banned by the government have been arrested. They have been arrested in raids under Devil Hunt Phase: 2. Today, Friday, December 26th, Moulvibazar Police Superintendent confirmed the matter. Yesterday, Thursday, December 25th, they were arrested in separate raids in different places of Moulvibazar district.

The arrested accused are Baralekha Upazila Swachhasevak League Religious Affairs Secretary Russell Ahmed (33), Rajnagar Upazila No. 1 Fatepur Union Ward No. 2 Awami League Religious Affairs Secretary Tota Mia (65), Awami League Publicity Secretary of the same ward Abdul Bachid (55), Shrimangal Sramik League member Md. Kasem Ali (36) and Juri Upazila Jubo League Sports Secretary Md. Babel. Ahmad (37).
