US President Donald Trump has warned Iran directly and harshly,saying that if Tehran tries to implement any alleged threat to kill him,the US will respond with terrible force. Yesterday,on Tuesday,January 20,in an interview given to US media News Nation,he made this comment in response to a question about the threat from the Iranian leadership.In the interview,Trump said that Iran should not even think of such a thing.

He made it clear that if there is any damage to it, then the consequences will be severe. In his words, if such an incident happens, the instructions have already been given to destroy Iran completely. He emphasized that the United States will not make any concessions in this regard. At this time, Trump also criticized former President Joe Biden. He claimed that when such threats came in the past, Biden should have taken a stronger position.

Trump complained that the previous leadership failed to show the necessary strictness against these threats. He also said that even if such threats were aimed at an ordinary citizen, he would have responded with the same strictness. In the meantime, the internal situation in Iran is becoming increasingly unstable. A major devaluation of the country's currency, the rial, rampant inflation and high food prices have sparked widespread protests across the country since late December. This movement has spread in various cities including the capital Tehran.

According to the US-based human rights organization HRANA, at least 4,29 people have been killed so far in the ongoing unrest. In addition, more than 26,000 people have been arrested and more than 5,800 people have been injured. Iranian officials have blamed the United States and Israel for the protests, claiming that they are supporting the so-called "armed rioters." President Trump praised Tehran for canceling hundreds of executions announced recently, despite threats of crackdown on protesters.
