Aminul Haque,BNP's nominated Dhaner Sheesh candidate for Dhaka-16 constituency and BNP's Central Sports Affairs Secretary, said that even though traffic was stopped on the polling day, sufficient rickshaws have been arranged to take the elderly voters to and from the polling station.It will be done.He said these things during a public meeting in the area in front of Navana and Taltala Basti on Mirpur No.11 Bazar Road on the ninth day of the election campaign today.


Aminul Haque said that there are about 137 polling stations and 63 institutions in his constituency. Clear instructions have been given to the officials of these institutions.He expressed hope that it will be possible to ensure the spontaneous participation of voters in each polling station through the responsible role of everyone. He said that a large part of the Urdu-speaking population lives in Dhaka-16 constituency, whose number of voters is about 70 thousand. In 1991,BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Aminul Haque mentioned that Khaleda Zia gave the citizenship of Bangladesh to the Urdu speaking people and that is why the BNP is working with this people. There is a historical connection.

Aminul Haque also said that if elected, the permanent rehabilitation of the Urdu speaking community will be one of his priorities.He has already visited their areas and tried to solve the problems according to his ability. Regarding the election environment, he said that the situation in the area is good so far. They are campaigning with patience and tolerance for peaceful and fair elections and are in constant contact with the law and order forces.

At that time, he complained that a group of Jamaat is going door to door collecting Bikash numbers and NID numbers and trying to buy votes in exchange of money. He said that even though there is no need for NID in advance polls, there is a doubt as to what purpose these information are being taken. Aminul Haque said that the matter has already been informed to the central leaders of the party and the returning officer and the Election Commission will be informed officially.
