Old woman injured in Kotalipara cocktail explosion

Shah Alam Mia, Correspondent, Kotalipara, Gopalganj.An old woman named Lalmon Begum (50),a day laborer,was seriously injured in the explosion of a cocktail she picked up in Kotalipara of Gopalganj.She is the wife of the deceased Asraf Ali Sardar of Chourkhuli village of Kushla union of the upazila.The incident took place in the area adjacent to Radhaganj bridge today, Thursday afternoon.It exploded on impact.His left hand was injured. Relatives took him for treatment After being taken to Kotalipara Hospital, the doctor on duty sent him to Dhaka for better treatment.After receiving the news, the Bhangarhat Fari Police visited the incident site.
