Special Correspondent, Daily Nasa News.After two decades, BNP Chairman Tarek Rahman is going to visit Sylhet on Wednesday, January 21.In the evening, his wife Dr. He will leave Dhaka for Sylhet along with Zubaida Rahman. Tarek Rahman himself announced this program at a doa mahfil and discussion meeting organized at the Banani Chairman's housein the capital yesterday, January 20,to pray for the forgiveness of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's soul. He said that on Wednesday I will go to Sylhet, God willing. We will officially start our election campaign from Sylhet the next day. Today Wednesday afternoon, me and my wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman will go to Sylhet by plane. Chairman of BNP said that the cars we will use will leave in the morning. This is his first election rally outside Dhaka after assuming responsibility as party chairman. BNP is going to start the official campaign for the upcoming 13th National Parliament election from Sylhet through this trip.Tomorrow Thursday, January 22, at 11 a.m., the election public meeting will be held at the historical government Alia Madrasa ground in Sylhet city. Tariq Rahman will speak as the chief guest. At the beginning of the public meeting, he will formally introduce the candidates for the parliamentary seats of Sylhet and Sunamganj districts. Before participating in the public meeting, he will visit the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shahparan (RA) in Sylhet. The authorities of the shrine have also made preparations for this.A festive atmosphere has been created in the city around Tariq Rahman's arrival in Sylhet. Banners, festoons and pylons have been decorated.
